Job Summary
Link Learning is a small but fast-growing creative arts organisation based in Sheffield. We're looking for an administrator to help facilitate our range of creative activities across the country and to provide in-person delivery for some of our activities in Sheffield.
Job Description
We're looking for a well-organised and flexible person to help with a range of activities, including day-to-day administration and the delivery of holiday activities to children on free school meals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who wants to become a fundamental part of Link Learning and have an impact on the growth and direction of the organisation in the future.
Job Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Google suite
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative and within a team
- Able to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
- A background in, or knowledge of, the creative arts and music, in particular
- Able to work with and inspire children
- A clean DBS is required for this role - Link Learning can organise this
- A desire to push yourself, work outside of your comfort zone and grow professionally
Job Responsibilities
- To provide administrative support to our extended team of Creative Practitioners in the delivery of music lessons and arts activities in primary schools
- Maintain timetables and keep schools and Creative Practitioners updated on any changes
- Liaise with schools, clients and Creative Practitioners over the phone and via email
- Work closely with the Company Directors to manage schedules and monitor incoming calls
- Administrate our programme of creative holiday activities and after-school art clubs and take part in the delivery where required
