Role: Assistant Corporate Secretary / Integrity Officer
Location: Birmingham, UK
We combine SNC-Lavalin’s project management expertise and Hitachi Energy’s deep technological knowledge to create a company dedicated to substations – we are Linxon!
Purpose of the Job:
This position is a combined role for an Assistant Corporate Secretary and Integrity Officer. As Assistant Corporate Secretary and Integrity Officer (ASC / IO), this position reports into the Chief Legal Officer and works closely with the Legal and Contract Management function, business management and other corporate function stakeholders within Linxon. The ASC / IO also work in close collaboration with the parent company SNC-Lavalin’s Regional Integrity Officers and Corporate Secretariat function, dependent on work being done by Linxon in the various regions.
What will you do?
Integrity Officer Role:
  • Ensure a proper implementation of the Linxon Integrity Program in all Linxon Hubs
  • Serve as primary contact for Linxon on integrity matters
  • Be a regular participant at key Linxon management meetings
  • Lead the Linxon integrity ambassador network
Assistant Corporate Secretariat Role:
  • Support board meetings of the Linxon board of directors (including minute taking and coordinating with the Chair and senior members of the Linxon management team)
  • Provide a full secretariat service to the multinational Linxon group of companies and branches (“Linxon Group”)
  • Focus on statutory compliance and record-keeping, routine annual and year-end procedures, and ad-hoc projects, as well as managing the compliance and maintenance of the Linxon Group’s international portfolio of subsidiaries with external consultants/legal service providers from the various regions.
Experience Required:
  • Law degree with a minimum of 3-4 years in private practice or as an in-house counsel
  • Compliance and/or corporate- law and/or corporate/subsidiary governance experience preferred but not essential
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Articulate with excellent communication skills, especially written English. Other additional languages a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a large and varied workload; ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and with multiple time zones
  • Happy working in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines
