Job Description Summary
The Workday Component Team is expanding and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Recruitment Functional SME to join our organization. As a Workday Recruitment Functional SME, you will be responsible for providing expert-level knowledge and guidance in all aspects of the Workday recruitment module. Your primary focus will be to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday's recruitment functionality.

What you’ll be doing
Your role will be to identify and deliver improvements to the experience of our candidates and colleagues
We'll need you to provide input to the development and automation of processes across the organisation. This will often include supporting the delivery of business change programmes by working collaboratively with people from different teams and business areas.
You will need to keep yourself up to date with the latest system enhancements in order to provide advice and guidance to your stakeholders to support their business needs
Using the skills and knowledge you develop to analyse problems and issues, make bold recommendations to resolve them and implement
About You
You’ll be self motivated, collaborative, resilient and your ability to challenge will be vital to ensure that our processes and procedures are aligned to our People-first Value.
You will be involved with working on our key people systems including Workday and our payroll system.
You’ll need to evidence that you:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday's recruitment module, staying up to date with the latest features, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Can deliver high quality solutions that meet your stakeholders needs, in sometimes challenging timescales.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations on system configurations, integrations, and data management to optimize recruitment processes and enhance user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any functional issues or system errors related to Workday recruitment, partnering with technical teams as necessary.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to recruitment and HRIS systems, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance recruitment practices.
  • Can investigate and analyse system issues and provide bold resolutions.
  • Can juggle multiple pieces of work at any one time be able to adapt solutions where necessary and still be able to deliver on time.
  • Take personal responsibility for delivering against agreed priorities, handling your own workloads and letting others know if you need additional support.
  • Have an active development plan which looks to broaden you existing skills and knowledge and how this knowledge has supported your decision making and/or solutions that you can recommend.
