Management Consultant - Contract
My client a top insurance company are looking for a Management Consultant join their team on a 6 month contract, based in London. Please note this role will be paid via an umbrella company. You will support the planning and implementation of the Technology Simplification programme. You will be responsible to provide oversight across the workstreams, projects and governance activities.
In this role you will...
- Asses impact of the upcoming changes and how to structure the team and operating mechanism to deliver the programme effectively.
- Support and improve the reporting, comms, and governance processes across the programme
- Supporting and leading specific initiatives to improve programme governance - e.g., data and MI, programme reviews, SLT and SteerCo sessions, financial planning and reporting etc.
- Support and champion change management and engagement of sites across the programme for effective delivery
- Build and establish mechanisms for moving changes and transformations from the programme into BAU. Use operational excellence experience to build and change operational teams so that they are efficient and effective
Key skills & experience required:
- Management Consulting experience within the financial / insurance sector
- Programme management experience on projects in technology & business change. Must have lead project and client teams across multiple programmes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build plans, and ensure that deadlines are set, agreed and met - whilst working in a virtual environment
- Confident and proactive, with solid influencing skills. Effective in stakeholder management
- Outcome focused with a flexible approach to work and able to adapt to change
