Letting Agent

We are looking for a junior letting agent, entry-level role to join our fantastic team. The job description may vary depending on the specific company, but here are some common responsibilities for a junior letting agent.

Your role:

• Assisting with property viewings: A junior letting agent will be responsible for accompanying prospective tenants to viewings of properties. This may involve answering questions about the property and highlighting its key features.
• Dealing with issues: The junior letting agent will be the first point of contact for tenants and landlords with questions about the properties being let. They will need to be able to provide accurate and helpful information, either over the phone or by email.
• Tenant vetting: The junior letting agent will be responsible for vetting potential tenants to ensure they meet the necessary criteria for renting the property. This may involve conducting credit checks and referencing previous landlords.
• Property maintenance: The junior letting agent may be responsible for ensuring that the property is well-maintained throughout the tenancy period. This may involve arranging for repairs and maintenance work to be carried out.
• Marketing properties: The junior letting agent may assist with marketing the properties being let. This may involve creating property listings and advertising them on various platforms

Overall, a junior letting agent is an important member of the real estate team and will play a key role in ensuring that the properties are well-managed and rented out efficiently.

Your skills:

• Attention to detail: Letting agents need to be detail-oriented to ensure that all necessary paperwork and legal requirements are in order. They must also be able to spot potential issues with properties during viewings and inspections.
• Excellent communication skills: must be able to communicate effectively with a range of people, including tenants, contractors, and colleagues. Strong verbal communication skills are essential.
• Organizational skills: Managing multiple properties and tenants can be a complex task, so letting agents must be highly organized and able to manage their time effectively.
• Customer service skills: Letting agents must be able to provide a high level of customer service to both landlords and tenants, responding to enquiries promptly and courteously
• Sales skills: The ability to sell properties and convince prospective tenants to rent is a critical skill for letting agents.

Salary: Competitive+ Bonus

Training: Once you are successfully selected, you will receive a series of training to assist you do this job.

Salary: £18,371.84-£62,371.59 per year
