This is a self employed contractor position based in the UK, looking for locations such as North West, North East, South Yorkshire, West & East Midlands and London.
This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the business delivers retail and hospitality unaccredited audits to retail/hospitality “own brand” standards across the UK and Ireland .
You will deliver high quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.
Through providing effective auditorship you will be responsible for:
- The management of your diary in line with the contract requirements of existing and new customers secured by the Business team and as instructed by the UK&I Assessor Manager.
- Safeguarding the work-related wellbeing of yourself.
- Liaising with Ops/Allocations on retail allocations to maximise your utilisation.
- Undertaking calibration reviews, shadow and witness audits in line with client contractual agreements per year as planned with the UK&I Assessor Manager.
- Adopt the principles of right first time and correct if needed as part of the evaluation process.
- To be responsible for employing relevant risk assessment standards when planning and conducting audits following the travel policy.
- Be responsive to Client needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal. Meet the required response timelines as agreed with the Client Account Manager.
- Maintain skills and knowledge relevant to the disciplines being evaluated.
Pre-requisites:
Knowledge and understanding of audits - min 3 years audit experience.
Level 4 Health & Safety Certificate
Level 4 Food Safety Certificate.
IT Literate for MS Office
