Multi Drop Van Driver

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The driver for the MJ Baker team would suit someone who possesses a strong customer focus and a desire to provide a professional delivery service. A requirement of the role is that you would:

• Complete daily walk round checks prior to departure to ensure that your vehicle is legally compliant
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner and at all times ensure that you adhere to road conditions, speed limits and road signage
• Deliver to multiple catering establishments across South West England
• Liaise with the transport team in relation to customer, vehicle or traffic issues
• Ensure that your vehicle is washed and fueled upon your return to the depot
• Accurately complete any delivery documentation
• Arranging stock uplifts with supplier where necessary

Essential Requirements

• Hold a valid driving licence (Category B)
• Have fewer than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Possess excellent customer service skills

Desirable Requirements

• Good Geographical knowledge of the South West
• Experience of temperature controlled multi drop deliveries

Hours

• 42 hours per week
• Contract Type: Permanent (Full time)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, start time 08:00.
