Position Overview & Specifications
- Manage payroll process for 170+ employees in 7 countries and ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Payroll administration - setting up new starters and filing, updating and maintaining payroll records
- Annual Benefit Returns Experience (P11b and P60s)
- Preparation of salary review and HR/Payroll comparisons
- Reconciliation of nominal accounts back to payroll reporting
- Maintain effective internal controls on reconciliations performed by the team
- Knowledge with allocation and journal all costs associated with payroll processing
- Preparing ad hoc reports as required in relation to the payroll process
- Respond to all pension related administration and queries
- Monthly review of holiday accrual for current staff and leavers
- Manage tax deductions, remittances and compliance filings while ensuring all deadlines are met
- Handle all day-to-day payroll functions, terminations, bonuses, healthcare premium deductions, ESPP and stock vests
- Partner with the People team to handle employee and country specific payroll issues
- Stay informed on current issues and tax changes, and implement government requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service to Magnite employees concerning requests for information, while researching and resolving discrepancies timely and accurately
- Initiate and lead automation of existing Payroll processes and SLAs
- Manages holiday reporting system for all global countries
- Benefit enquiries, processing of benefits for new hires globally, processing of benefit payments and some reconciliation when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred and/or a minimum of 5 - 7 years of advanced payroll experience
- Knowledge of payroll systems ADP Streamline and Teamseer vacation tracking system (a plus)
- Knowledge and experience with Workday HRIS preferred
- Experience with managing multiple company codes/foreign currency payrolls
- Knowledge of international tax laws, employment status, benefits, and statutory requirements
- Proficient skills in Excel and Google suite cloud applications
- Excellent problem solving and judgment skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and independently under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization
- Must pay attention to details and be able to identify problems and provide solutions
- Efficient multi-tasking and project management skills
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and a change-focused work environment.
