Mahdlo Youth Zone is a young people’s charity based in Oldham with a vision to be a beacon of excellence for youth-led provision. Our mission is to deliver high quality, innovative activities and experiences for young people aged 8-19 (25 with a disability) to provide opportunities to raise aspirations and support young people to be the best they can be.

We have a number of hours available for Sports Workers to join our successful sports team on a Monday evening and during our Saturday sessions. You will deliver a range of exciting activity programmes that will challenge, stimulate and provide new opportunities, in line with Mahdlo’s Get Active (Sports) theme.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for Sport and a Level 2 Sports Leaders award or equivalent and will be able to work with young people aged 8-19 years (25 with a disability) both in groups and individually.

It is essential you have a passion for working positively with young people and delivering an excellent service. You must also be committed to working within the spirit of Mahdlo’s core values - Pride, Respect, Inclusion, Dependability and Excellence – which describe how we do things.
