Freelance estimator for property maintenance company

Maison Plan / MG London is a property maintenance company that provide a variety of services from reactive maintenance call-outs to building projects up to a value of ca. £50,000. Our typical client base is at the higher end of the residential property market as well as some commercial work. Furthermore, we provide private homeowners with a fixed-price monthly subscription plan, giving them complete peace of mind that any repairs and fixes are taken care of by us.

As part of our growth, we are looking to work with an experienced freelance estimator, ideally someone with 10+ years’ experience as a project manager or similar, covering a wide range of the building and maintenance spectrum. The role would also involve some management of jobs and projects, although the majority of this should be possible to do remotely.

The type of work we mostly quote for includes:

• Painting & decorating (interior & exterior)
• General maintenance & handyman works
• Bathroom refurbishments
• All types of carpentry works
• All types of plumbing works
• Basic electrics
• New timber flooring
• Post-leak /water damage remedial works
• Tiling (bathrooms/kitchens)
• Window repair and replacement
• Roofing repairs
• Garden works (decking, fencing, clearance & tidying etc)

We deliver our services inside the M25 area, but mainly central London and surrounding London post codes.

We will pay a fixed price per quote submitted including site visits. For quotes where no site visit is required, we offer a lower fixed rate. Management time, where needed, will also be pre-agreed at a fixed price, to be defined at the outset of a project.

Ideally, we need someone that is flexible with their time – perhaps only looking for up 1-2 days per week. The workflow will fluctuate depending on our workload, so some weeks will be quieter than others.
