We are currently looking for a Senior Parking Consultant / Engineer to join our Parking Team. Our team handles a busy annual programme of works including the design of on and off-street parking projects and Parking Strategies for a wide range of clients located throughout the UK. You will join a vibrant and experienced team that have successfully delivered a variety of projects. These include prestigious projects such as the delivery of major event day parking control measures for London Olympics Games venues (including the Olympic Stadium) and more recently, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

For this role, key skills we be looking for in our ideal candidate will include, but not be limited to:
  • Able to supervise a team of junior engineers, technicians, and/or graduates.
  • Assist with training, undertake Quality Assurance, and coordinate the workload of junior team members.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of designing and implementing traffic and parking schemes in line with relevant legislation and guidance.
  • To effectively manage projects to time and budget.
  • Experience liaising with stakeholders including public, local stakeholders, client officers and elected representatives such as MPs and Council Members on parking or traffic related matters.
  • Local authority experience would be beneficial.
  • Have sound knowledge and experience of AutoCAD for designing traffic or parking schemes.
  • Knowledge of other parking design tools such as Parkmap and SignPlot would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of GIS based systems will also be advantageous but not essential.
  • Be familiar with Traffic Management/Regulation Orders and the order making process
  • Alongside our engagement team, be able to organise and manage formal and informal engagement and consultation events.
