Medicines Counter Assistant

Mary Potter Pharmacy Nottingham have an opening for a permanent Medicines Counter assistant.

As the front of house, you will assist the pharmacy team in providing a confidential, friendly, efficient and professional healthcare service to the local community. To do everything possible to maintain and enhance the good name and reputation of Mary Potter Pharmacy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serving customers and handing out pre bagged medication.
2. Ordering, receiving and managing shop and behind the counter stock.
3. Merchandising and helping with shop displays.
4. Maintaining clean and professional appearance of the shop; all shop floor swept and mopped daily, cleaning and making sure all products on the shelves are front facing and there are no gaps.
5. Successfully completing the Medicine Counter Assistant course which you will be enrolled onto soon after starting.
6. Solve patient queries.

Person Specification.
1. Medicines counter assistants qualification, desirable but not essential as training can be provided to the right candidate.

2. Experience working in retail environment.

3. Customer service in pharmacy desirable.

5. Merchandising & display skills

6. Handling monetary transactions

7. Interest in healthcare and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

8. Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate to all groups of patients.
