We are locally known, and with one around every corner I am sure you have all been in a McDonald’s restaurant at some point.We employ over 140,000 people across the UK, and we serve more than 4 million customers a day. Each year we spend over 40 million pounds on training our employees and providing opportunities.

Our Student Work Experience Programme is aimed at full-time students, looking for the employability skills that will support their future careers. Joining the team in your local McDonald’s restaurant for either five or ten days, you’ll gain valuable work experience and learn new skills that will last you a lifetime. These include planning and organisation, communication, confidence, interacting with customers, decision-making and team work. It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people! This programme is open to full-time students aged 14 to 18. We look for enthusiasm, dedication and a professional attitude. You must also be committed to getting the best from the experience. You don’t have to have ambitions to work with McDonald’s – this experience will boost any CV.
