Warehouse/Forklift Operator

McNair Building & Timber Merchants are looking to recruit experienced warehouse/forklift operatives at our busy branch in Kirkintilloch.

This is a permanent position and the successful candidate should have worked in a yard/warehouse environment. Experience of working with a building or timber supplier would be preferred but not essential.

Hours of work:

Mon - Fri: 7:30am - 5pm

Sat 8.00am – 12.00 noon (2 on 1 off rota)

Main Duties include:

• Issuing materials to customers
• Making up orders for transport
• Receiving goods into store locations
• Operating a counter balance forklift
• Perpetual stock taking & general warehouse duties

Candidates must have:

• Current counter balance forklift licences
• Previous warehouse or store experience
• Be able to work as a team or on own initiative
