The role
Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going above and beyond your duties providing an exceptional customer service, putting patients and clients first, always. Everyone here is focused on our patients and clients, and you will be too as you answer calls and queries, make appointments and take payments, and ensure the practice is safe and well-stocked. You don’t need specific experience as you’ll receive excellent support and training. However, you must share our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also take the initiative in customer service and have caring, thoughtful communication skills. Of course, share our love of animals and be able to deal with patients and clients in sometimes distressing circumstances. Good written and spoken English, a positive approach to solving problems and the ability to work under pressure as needed are also essential.
Skills and experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills • Strive for high standards of customer care and excellent telephone manner • ESSENTIAL - Previous experience of working in a busy reception/customer care role • BENEFICIAL - Previous experience in a veterinary practice though not essential as training and supported provided • Knowledge and good understanding of Microsoft systems - Word, Excel, Teams and email are also essential
