We are seeking a Bartender to join our team at The Boathouse. Responsibilities include serving customers quickly, efficiently and professionally while maintaining a clean bartending area. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing cocktails according to recipes and serving drinks in a timely manner. Previous experience is not required, but a love of people and a sense of humour is essential to be an effective Bartender.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the full bar inventory and how to prepare a variety of drinks.
• Be able to serve many types of people in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide good customer service to patrons on a personal level.
• Greet patrons with politeness and respect and be able to develop rapport with them.
• Know how to mix drinks and make recommendations based on customer preferences and tastes.
• Manage the bar during a shift by organizing and cleaning up.
• Ensure the bar's cleanliness during business hours, take out the trash, give the floors a vacuum, and sweep the counter.
• Keep track of purchases for accounting purposes.
• Control the flow of customers into the bar; understand when it's not busy, slow down or speed up service accordingly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
