If you do, we would love for you to be our new Financial Controller at Megan’s!

You will be responsible for the leading the finance function for Megan's. This will include financial reporting and FP&A. You will be managing a team of 3, with the team expected to grow over time in line with the company’s ambitious growth plans. You will be reporting into the Finance Director and part of the senior team. The Finance Director overseas multiple other areas of the business therefore a self starter attitude is essential.

As Megan's is one of the faster growing hospitality companies in the UK, the ideal candidate will be ambitious and looking to move into a Financial Director role within 12 months.

Main Duties

• 
  Ensuring timely completion of daily, weekly and month end reporting process for all operating sites.

• Review of balance sheet reconciliations and resolution on a monthly basis

• Providing analytical reviews and commentaries of the monthly management accounts against budget, forecast and comparative periods

• Presenting financial results at monthly meetings to operations and the senior leadership team, and helping strategise any required performance improvements

• Managing the external audit process and preparation of statutory accounts

• Identify and implementing financial process and system improvements

• Cash flow forecasting

• Investment appraisals for new site developments and other capital projects

• Delivering the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts

• Delivering the quarterly VAT returns and other filing requirements

Requirements/ Qualifications

• 
  CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified

• 3+ years’ experience in a hospitality (preferred, not essential)

• Commercially orientated mindset

• In-depth knowledge of financial and legal principles and practices

• Pro-active and a self starter, with an ability to manage key stakeholders

• Advanced Excel skills associated with large volumes of data, data management and reporting
