Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for Multi-Skilled Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technicians (electrical bias) to work in our Electronics recycling facility in Rhymney. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, preferably with a formal electrical qualification.
Working as part of a team of Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, Welder Fabricators and Plant Fitters, your main responsibility in our fast paced, high standard electronic recycling facility will be to respond to machine breakdowns and to complete machine set ups to achieve product specification and performance.
Your role will also include working with team members to continuously improve manufacturing performance, maintenance of automated inspection systems, fault finding and corrective action, machine inspection, preventative maintenance, and preparation of production lines.
Duties to include:
- Maintaining a record of all the work completed to facilitate maintenance records.
- Carry out any emergency maintenance required to ensure that when breakdown situations do occur disruption is minimised.
- Assist in departmental maintenance as required and instructed.
- Ensure general housekeeping of the workshop and other areas of work is maintained.
The successful applicant will have:
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards, procedures and practices of the trade.
You should have an industry recognized engineering qualification/apprenticeship, and a formal electrical qualification, 18th edition preferred
Additional training will be considered for the right candidate.
You should have a flexible approach and be able to work unsupervised and be able to work under pressure.
NEWLY QUALIFIED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS WILL ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED.

Salary: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Experience:
- Electrical Engineering: 1 year (required)
- industrial machinery: 1 year (preferred)
