Role
A new exciting opportunity has become available due to our continued rapid growth in the marketplace. We are seeking a new team member who will assist our accountants with the bookkeeping and administration of record keeping for our clients with the overall goal to become a fully qualified bookkeeper or accountant.
Whilst no accountancy qualifications are necessary, experience of working in an office environment is desirable. The role is suited for an individual who is looking to start an exciting career within the accountancy profession but has no previous experience or qualifications.
The successful candidate will be fully trained in the role and supported by our qualified accountants.
Accountancy Practice Details
We are a modern, technology focused accountancy practice based in South Liverpool. We have been trading for 17 years and continue to see rapid growth. Our team is friendly and approachable as well as professional and dedicated.
Our clients are mainly small managed enterprises where the relationship with their accountant is critical to their continued success. Whilst our clients are primarily based in the North West, we also have clients nationwide, coming from a wide variety of sectors and professions.
Please note that this is an office-based role therefore please do not apply if you live more than 10 miles from our South Liverpool office.
Main Duties of the Role
· Responsible for collecting data from clients
· Ensuring data is complete and accurate
· Capturing client data into our cloud accounting software
· Reconciling data in the software
· Chasing clients for missing information
· Liaising with Companies House and HMRC
· Supporting our accountants
· General admin tasks when necessary
Skills and Experience
· Attention to detail
· Numerically confident
· IT literate (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)
· Approachable and confident
· Polite and courteous to team and clients
· Good communication skills
· Experience of working in an office environment
· Ability to manage various tasks and priorities

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch
