This is a full-time position in a fast paced working environment. We are currently based in Amsterdam but we are looking to move the headquarters of the business to London in a week. About the job:

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to bring this vision to life, crafting unforgettable journeys that provide a new level of indulgence in travel. Responsibilities:

  • As a travel planner, your mission is to journey to each exotic location, research and fully immerse yourself in the local services. With your findings, you'll design unforgettable itineraries that bring each destination to life.
  • Research and plan unique, luxury itineraries that focus on exploring new destinations, offering one-in-a-life-time experiences, and promoting self-discovery and wellness.
  • Contact and negotiate with logistics vendors to arrange all aspects of the trip, including transportation, accommodations, meals, activities, and any necessary permits or visas.
  • Plan and coordinate pre-trip preparations, including developing detailed itineraries, testing the route, and ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Manage the trip on-site, ensuring that all aspects of the itinerary run smoothly and that the clients have a seamless and memorable experience.
  • Ensure the highest standards of luxury and customer service are met, including Aman and Belmond-level standards.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including logistics vendors, local guides, and hotels, to ensure the success of future trips.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in luxury travel planning and operations, with a proven track record of success in planning and executing high-end itineraries.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience negotiating with vendors and managing on-site operations.
  • Knowledge of the luxury travel industry, including travel logistics and local customs and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for travel, cultural immersion, and wellness, and a desire to create memorable experiences for our clients.
