Position Overview & Specifications
This position will best suit a proactive, enthusiastic individual who is compassionate and who has great communication and computer skills. Experience within the veterinary industry is ideal but not essential.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.
Receptionist duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting clients and visitors
- Dealing with telephone and email queries including booking appointments and surgical procedures on our Practice Management System
- Minimal animal handling under supervision of a vet (additional training provided as needed)
- Processing payments
- Insurance advice and queries
- Promoting our Pet health club
- Cleaning reception area, consultation rooms, etc
We are offering a permanent, full time position (40 hours per week). Working hours are Monday to Friday (between 7.30am – 8.30pm) on a rota basis with varied shift patterns between these hours. This will involve working across several of our different sites.
Saturdays are equally shared on a rota basis, with time off in lieu the following week.
Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence and have their own car.
