Our Technical/NPD team is looking to recruit an Packaging Technologist to manage the packaging process from concept to launch across multifunctional teams for all of Morrisons products across multiple sales platforms and our wholesale customers; again trading over multiple platforms.
This is a role where you’ll help to ensure the existing Product Development (EPD) and (NPD) end to end processes are completed, on time and in full. You will also manage the artwork process in line with NPD critical path including agreeing FTP dates and artwork approval and be at the forefront of packaging innovation and lead plastic reduction across manufacturing sites.
Reporting to the NPD Manager, you will:
- Manage the NPD/Packaging process – Concept to Launch - for all ranges and customer groups.
- Work with our site NPD and Technical team and central Trading teams to hit specific product/project critical paths, including managing the artwork approval process, PIR & Cutter requests.
- Work with Procurement to confirm packaging unit cost, materials and any additional origination cost. Create and keep a Cutter & PIR
