Job Description
Job Purpose
To laser print identification tags to the required standards in terms of quality and output to ensure an excellent service is provided to all customers.
Provide assistance and/or cover for relevant positions within the operations team (e.g. Warehouse/Service and Repair)
This role involves working shifts and may require the post holder to work overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- To operate industrial laser marking/printing machines
- Understand and translate paperwork to determine customer requirements
- Work as part of a team to ensure orders are processed on time and to the expected quality required
- Ensure all items to be shipped are packed correctly and in line with procedures
- Warehouse duties including picking and packing of Stock Keeping Unit
- Assist in the monitoring and control of stock and consumables
- To solve problems quickly or bring such problems to the attention of Team Leader for rapid resolution
- Be part of the continuous improvement team to drive efficiency
- Any other duties as directed by supervisor, consummate with role and experience
Rotating day shift is Mon-Fri 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm. There is a shift allowance of 15% of base pay payable.

- Proactive, well organised and capable of taking the initiative
- Good level of computer literacy/IT skills
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of working in a production / warehouse environment
- Good awareness of Health and Safety (H&S) practices
- Basic understanding of quality processes and procedures
- Previously worked in a small team environment, managing a high workload and supporting the work of others
