Position Overview & Specifications

Summary

We are looking to hire a Primary Content Writer (mathematics or science specialist) to join us in our mission to educate the world. As a primary specialist, you will be an integral member of a team creating the primary education content (ages 5 - 12) which appears on our digital education platforms. A significant component of the job will be writing audience-appropriate questions and pedagogically rich solutions, mainly in mathematics and science. Alongside this, you will write and review mathematics, science, and English content for use in our student-focused apps.

Responsibilities

  • Write developmentally appropriate, well-structured questions and solutions for a range of curricula from around the world.
  • Take part in content review and approval for mathematics and science.
  • Contribute to structured content development for primary level courses for English as an additional language.
  • Identify topics where content needs to be added or improved.
  • Contribute to discussions about how content will best serve a primary audience.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • An undergraduate degree in mathematics or science related subjects.
  • A-levels or equivalent in at least two of mathematics, science, English, and related subjects.
  • Experience teaching or creating educational content.
  • Speaks English at an idiomatic level.

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn.


This is a full-time (35 hours a week) position working from our Windsor office. Gross annual salary of £30,000-£36,000, and 28 days leave exclusive of bank holidays.
