In this pivotal role you will lead a large multi-disciplined operations team of 12 direct reports and a wider team of 30+ across 6 operational sites. The team are responsible and accountable for substations asset ownership and technical integrity within a geographical area. You will provide a safe working environment and ensure effective delivery of multi-million pound capital projects, preventative maintenance and fault response activities, at all times meeting stakeholders’ expectations and maintaining the integrity and reliability of the Transmission network.

Hybrid and flexible working ingrained into our culture, this permanent opportunity offers a mix of site and home working. You’ll travel and work from multiple sites in the West London area, you must live within this region in order to fulfil this role. What you'll need
We’re looking for you to demonstrate; Safety Leadership, significant operational background leading multi-disciplined teams. Managing costs, performance and commerciality. Strong communication skills, a minimum HNC qualification preferably in an engineering discipline. A current full Driving Licence which allows you to drive in the UK is essential.
