Substation Admin Assistant

You’ll provide excellent administration support to the Head of Substations for the South East and their team which comprises of 6 field based teams, Planning, Projects and Compliance & Safety teams by managing workloads and commitments efficiently and within timescales. You’ll be coordinating travel arrangements such as hotels and transport, managing databases and spreadsheets, this also provide support for meetings as well as producing management reports, agenda’s and follow up on any actions.
We are looking for a strong administrator with an excellent eye for detail, be able to demonstrate working within a process driven environment and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You should be able to prioritise your workload and be used to work in a fast-paced environment, but also you should you have the drive and determination to reach targets and deadlines.
Key skills and experience
You can demonstrate previous administration experience preferably in a high volume and confidential environment. Experience of minute taking, arranging transport and accommodation, producing reports. Can use a computer with Microsoft Office skills. A confident personality with an ability to work closely with Senior Managers and stakeholders with a preference for working in a methodical and well organised environment but also able to deal with varying priorities.
Pay and Benefits
- 37 Hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
- Enhanced 25 days annual leave (increasing to 26 after two years’ service) plus 8 statutory days.
