The role

As we venture into an exciting new period of growth, we're looking for a confident and clear-thinking brand strategist to help us to tell our story compellingly to our existing customer whilst also seeking out a new customer, ultimately ensuring Neptune is recognised as the UKs market leading interiors business.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Head of Brand and Content to join our team as we take the Neptune brand to the next level. You'll be the brand guardian for all customer touchpoints and interactions, ensuring the highest standards are set and maintained. You'll also lead and implement the evolution of Neptune's brand strategy, working collaboratively alongside key stakeholders, primarily creative, product and commercial teams, to define the next chapter for the business.

Being the person who lives, breathes and expounds our brand and its values through communications, both internal and external, you'll be accountable for:

  • Supporting and heralding the voice of the customer, ensuring that all strategies, communications and ideas are focused on their wants and needs
  • Leading the team in living and championing the brand and its values through exceptional internal and external communications.
  • Proactively shaping and developing unique and exciting marketing campaigns, exploring new routes to market which increase market position and enhance reputation
  • Establishing reputation as a thoughtful leader, ensuring we keep an outward focus and understand best practice, major shifts in market trends and developments
  • Leading and inspiring the marketing team, encouraging communication, collaboration and creativity and developing an energised and organised environment

We are looking for someone really special; someone that has exceptional communication skills and a naturally intuitive understanding of luxury brands, ideally homeware, and their customers. You'll bring solid leadership experience and the ability to establish excellent working relationships and demonstratable influencing skills. This is a key role and one where you'll make an impact quickly, so it's essential that you have previous evidential experience of delivering marketing campaigns that are executed creatively, commercially and flawlessly across a full marketing mix in a multi-channel context: advertising, media, print, PR, communications and in-store.
