Position Overview & Specifications

Reflections Training Academy offers high quality Hairdressing & Barbering apprenticeships. As an independent training provider we offer our learners state of the art facilities and live models to ensure they get the best training and experience!

We are looking for a receptionist to join our team as front-of-house, meeting and greeting clients, helping tutors and becoming part of the Reflections group.

You will be studying towards your own apprenticeship with Next Level Training. Next Level are part of the Reflections group and provide continual support to ensure you gain the skills, and knowledge to excel in your chosen career.

This is a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship.

You will develop understanding of and skills in a wide range of administrative activities such as information management, people and event co-ordination and implementing procedures and systems.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a busy switchboard, taking, and distributing messages when appropriate
  • Meeting and greeting all learners, clients and visitors to Reflections Training Academy with a friendly persona
  • The booking and allocation of client appointments for all learners and maintaining the ‘Model Database’
  • Recording, reporting and tracking learner attendance, producing statistics where required
  • Maintenance of our learner database
  • Booking of travel arrangements as and when required
  • Cashing up responsibilities
  • Full administrative support to Teachers and Training staff
  • Being helpful and informative to learners throughout their programme
  • The monitoring and ordering of stationary as and when required
  • Communication to employers over learner attendance
  • Update promotional client information as and when required, to work alongside the marketing team

The following skills and experience are required:

  • Highly presentable with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Developed PC skills with a basic understanding of Word and Excel
  • Ability to be Private and Confidential
  • Excellent and professional telephone manner

The following skills and experience will be an advantage:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of working with appointments
