At NFU Mutual North Riding we are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills to join our Claims team providing first class customer service to a wide range of personal and commercial insurance customers.

Insurance experience would be an advantage, but first-class customer service skills are the most important quality as full training will be provided. The Agency is based across three offices in Stokesley, Northallerton and Leyburn and offers support and funding for CII qualifications. The chances are you’ll have already worked in a similar role and will be no stranger to applying an excellent telephone manner and a flexible, people-orientated approach to everything you do. Above all, you will relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer-focused, ambitious team.

Your duties would include opening and handling claims for the agency as well as dealing with those within your authority. You will monitor the claims from beginning to end by managing a claims diary and ensuring a smooth process for the customer. You will build strong relationships with all staff, Loss Adjusters and our Regional Service Centre.

Candidate Requirements

• Professional, Hardworking with an attention to detail and a ‘Can Do’ attitude
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and able to adapt to company systems
• A minimum of 5 GCSE passes ( grade 4 or C above or equivalent ) which must include Maths and English.
• A minimum of two A level passes or relevant insurance industry experience with CII professional qualifications
