Position Overview & Specifications
To provide circumscribed psychological interventions and Neuropsychological assessment under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, according to a plan agreed with the supervising psychologist and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. To support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Neuropsychology Inpatient Service at Astley Ainslie Hospital and CRABIS (Community Rehabilitation And Brain Injury Service) via contribution to relevant group programmes. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. To contribute to the Quality Improvement programme for the service, under supervision by conducting PDSA cycles, data analysis and input of QI project into Life QI Programme, or other QI work as directed.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post
Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
