Clinical Photographer

An opportunity has arisen for a part-time (22.5 hours per week) Clinical Photographer to join our team within the Clinical Photography Department in NHS Fife.

You will join a team of 5 staff who are committed to providing a comprehensive Clinical Photography / Video / Graphic Design Service to NHS Fife. We are based across two hospital sites, one in Dunfermline and one in Kirkcaldy. You may be required to work across both sites on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate should possess the BSc in Medical Illustration. Consideration will also be given to applicants who have an equivalent level media qualification and / or postgraduate certificate in Clinical Photography and also be on the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS) register. Experience in Ophthalmic imaging is essential. Applicants should be experienced in digital imaging workflow and be familiar with photography image management systems.
A portfolio of recent work is expected to be submitted electronically for those candidates shortlisted to demonstrate their range of photographic skills.
