You will be required to work within a 24 hour, 7 day service, completing 12.5 hour shifts in Glenmar House in Markinch, Glenrothes supporting 4 children and young adults but with opportunities to work across our service particularly Homecare and Special Schools.

We are looking to recruit a Paediatric, Adult or Learning Disability registered nurse who is committed to the provision of safe, effective child centred quality care. We work closely with all our partners across Health & Social care, 3rd Sector as well as Education.

We offer a robust induction followed by a supernumerary period and further consolidation. We have our own in-house education team who can assist with further development.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Team Leader, you will provide nursing care and support to children & young people with exceptional health care needs receiving care within our residential unit, supporting these children to access school and nursery during term time. You will also have the opportunity to undertake the role of a pupil support nurse within the school while accompanying our residents there.

You must be a registered nurse, ideally with experience of working with children, young people or adults within a community setting. Previous experience of working with children and young people with exceptional healthcare needs would be advantageous. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a multiagency team.
