Applications are invited for the position of Phlebotomist. You will be taking blood samples by venepuncture within an established team of phlebotomists who deliver a 7 day service for in-patients throughout Ninewells Hospital and to out-patient clinics. Previous phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment would be advantageous, however full departmental training will be provided. Good team working, time management, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A flexible approach to working pattern will be required. You will be based at Ninewells Hospital.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 20 hours per week.
5 x 4 hour sessions per week. Most sessions 8am-12noon Monday - Sunday and a requirement to work some afternoons. There will also be a requirement to participate in a public holiday rota.
