We are looking to appoint an individual who can demonstrate excellent day to day leadership and operational management skills evidenced against a track record of successfully delivering key change projects and significant impact to service provision.
This role reports to the Soft Facilities Manager, P&K/Angus Localities, NHS Tayside and contributes to the strategic planning of soft facility services for NHS Tayside.
The postholder will be responsible for the day to day leadership, operational management and delivery of site and soft facilities management services to a variety of sites across the Perth and Kinross locality. Services include domestic, porters, sewing and linen and site management functions including, but not exclusive to, security, fire, health and safety, risk management, administration functions, travel planning, car parking, waste and accommodation.
Applicants must possess a wide knowledge of general management skills and have a good understanding of the expectations regarding service delivery. Ideally the candidate will possess a degree in Facilities Management, Hotel Services, Finance or equivalent with extensive middle management experience within a large complex organisation preferably in the Health Sector or equivalent knowledge gained through experience. The postholder will also have a strong commitment to performance management and be able to support and influence their staff accordingly in conjunction with the NHS Tayside code of positive behaviour.
Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
