Primary Classroom Teacher

Niche Education Ltd are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher for a school in the Durham area.

We work with several primary schools in the Durham region, and we assist them with covering supply bookings, both in advance and for last minute sickness. Supply teaching can offer you a flexible lifestyle, help to develop experience across several different schools, classes, and year groups.

This role will involve working in primary schools covering for teachers across KS1 and KS2. The duties of a teacher include teaching lessons based on national curriculum guidelines and encouraging student participation in lessons and in other school-related activities.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS/PGCE in the UK
• Be able to confidently deliver lessons to KS1 and KS2
• Possess excellent classroom management skills
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be confident with behaviour management
• Possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
