Position Overview & Specifications

Job Description


As the Associate Salesforce & Freshdesk Product Owner you will be responsible for the day-to-day management & administration of the platforms. Working under the direction of the Salesforce & Freshdesk Product Owner to support with general tasks as well as implementing system enhancements to support business objectives. As the Junior Administrator, you will strive to become the knowledge expert of the systems within your remit.

Key Tasks:

  • Salesforce & Freshdesk administration for Nielsen Brandbank
  • To support in the implementation, adoption & enhancement of the Salesforce & Freshdesk platforms across the global organisation
  • Daily administration and support of the Salesforce and Freshdesk application and users, including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customisation of objects, fields, record types, page layouts & validations.
  • Develop, create and customised reports and dashboards
  • Work with business stakeholders to define required features and map Salesforce and Freshdesk features to business processes
  • Support with training and the creation of training materials and user documentation for processes, policies and application configurations.
  • Continuous improvement via self-learning
  • Ensures work is completed according to business priority
  • Communicates internally and externally, improving transparency, and radiating information, facilitating discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution as required.

Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices & functionality &/or internal commercial systems and processes
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines, effectively prioritise and execute multiple requests at any one time, in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including building customer rapport and running workshops.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to quickly grasp a clear understanding of a customer’s needs and translate them to a set of requirements and well-planned solution deliverables.
  • The ability to understand and dive into the details of a solution
  • Creative thinker with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
