Scenic/Events Carpenter

We are currently looking for Scenic Carpenters to join our team. The industry is incredibly fast paced, we work with some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn and flourish within an ever growing company and field.

The Role

• Working on a variety of projects both autonomously and alongside the wider team
• Follow production schedules/plans, often to tight deadlines
• Applying multiple finishes
• Prepping set and scenic items going to site and the safe loading of
• Assisting with deliveries and unloading
• Supporting onsite installation and derig of scenic builds across the country

The Person:

• Strong carpentry skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Considerate team based worker
• Keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of CAD or drawing packages will be advantageous
• Experience of working within events/exhibitions (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)

This is a full time position, core hours are 0830 - 1730, Monday - Friday. The industry is fast paced, often working to short deadlines ensuring there are plenty of opportunities for paid overtime across evenings and weekends. For the right candidate we can offer flexible working hours.

Salary will be dependent on experience, we can offer you multiple opportunities to learn and join our performance based bonus scheme.

Our workshop and warehouse are based in Barnet, EN5 4RN, most easily accessed via car, public transport links are possible, please bear this in mind before applying.
