Retail Sales Associate 25+ HOURS

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our shop floor team working in a busy Retail Environment. This job involves handling large volumes of heavy produce therefore a high degree of physical fitness is required. To be successful in this role you must be willing to work efficiently to a high standard, we are not a 'stand still' workforce.

Permanent contract will be offered only after a twelve week probation period.

Part-time (25+ hours) to include one weekend shift, overtime always available. Shifts will vary between:

Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm / 12-5pm / 5-10.30pm .

Sunday 9am-5pm / 12-5pm / 5-10.30.

For the right candidate the hours will be mostly day time however you may be required to to work a 5-10.30 shift on occasion.

Role Responsibilities

*Awareness of customer needs and provide excellent customer services.

*Provide up to date advice on our product range, promotions and special offers.

*Maintain store cleanliness & hygiene standards.

*Unloading and unpacking deliveries.

*Adhere to store merchandising standards

*Till duties including cash handling, credit/debit card payment, lottery & paypoint transactions.

Essential Skills/Requirements

*One years experience in a similar retail setting.

*Excellent customer service skills.

*Ability to work as part of a team.

*Have a good work ethic and 'can do' attitude.

*Ability to act on own initiative.

*Good attendance and punctuality.

*Good numeracy & accuracy skills.

*Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour

• Night shift
