ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
WILLOUGHBY ROAD PRIMARY ACADEMY, SCUNTHORPE

Willoughby Road Primary Academy are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal to join our academy in September 2023 on a full-time permanent basis.

As an Assistant Principal, you will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and you will deputise for the Head of Academy in their absence. You will provide proactive support to the Head of Academy, Executive Principal and AAB members to ensure the leadership and management of the academy operates effectively. Your role will be to lead, firstly as a highly effective classroom practitioner that will model outstanding practice as well as undertaking monitoring of the provision, inclusion and achievement for all pupils.

Willoughby Road Primary Academy is located in Scunthorpe. The academy strongly believes in giving individual attention to the needs of the children in our care. We support the development of lifelong learners through development of life skills that include responsibility, resilience, respect, and readiness for learning. It is our mission to offer every child a high-quality education in a supportive, safe, and challenging environment in which they feel valued and are inspired to become life-long learners who are ‘striving to be the best’.

Good relationships exist with local partnerships including the Scunthorpe schools as well as other academies within Delta Academies Trust.

Salary: Leadership range L1 – L5 (£44,305 - £48,894)
