Healthcare Assistant Fracture and Orthopaedic - Huntingdon

We are looking for a caring, dedicated, innovative and motivated Health Care Assistant to join the Trauma and Orthopaedic outpatient team, based within Hinchingbrooke Hospital. You must have a caring approach, be an excellent communicator and be capable of delivering high standards of patient care.

The Role of the HCA within this Department is diverse. We aim to deliver high quality evidence based care to Trauma and Elective patients. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team within the Trauma and Orthopaedic outpatient department, to ensure the smooth running of both Trauma and Elective clinics, plaster room and minor ops . We care for a range of patients, both children and adults. You will be required to provide a high quality of care to patients in a caring and compassionate manner, acting always in the patients best interest. Part of the role will be to act as a role model and uphold the Trusts policies and procedures. Cross site working is also a requirement with Peterborough City Hospital and Stamford Hospital, when required.
