The Salford Community Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CSNRT) is a welcoming, ambitious and enthusiastic team with a wealth of expertise, making it a great place to work. There is a focus on multi-disciplinary working and goal setting with an aim to achieve the best outcomes with the patients, and their support and care systems. You would be joining a neuropsychology team that consists of a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, three Clinical Psychologists/Clinical Neuropsychologists and two Assistant Psychologists with professional links to the wider neuropsychology department at Salford Royal and across other neuro rehabilitation services in Greater Manchester. There are weekly CPD sessions within the service, and monthly in the neuropsychology department. We have links with three of the local Doctorates in Clinical Psychology to offer teaching and placements as required.

Salford CSNRT provides assessment and intervention for those across the Salford postcode who have a broad range of neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries. Appointments are usually at the individual’s home or in a clinic setting in the community and so the successful candidate would need to be able to travel around the Salford area easily. Working within the service is diverse and it is a great way to develop a depth and breadth of neuropsychological knowledge and ways of working. There is supervision and line management within the service and a great deal of peer support. The team is also dedicated to service development, making it an exciting place to work.
