Job description
Salary: From £9.62 to £12.58 an hour
Contract: Full time, permanent – 37.50 hours per week including alternate weekends.

About Greenwood
Greenwood Cottage has provided support for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and complex needs for almost 30 years. We offer accommodation and 24-hour care for six individuals, all of whom are currently 50+ and require additional support. Our main focus is to provide care and support to our residents, allowing them to meet their full potential and live happy, fulfilled lives in a safe, caring and homely environment.
Essential skills/responsibilities:
- To work as a care assistant / healthcare assistant / support worker for patients as part of the care team at the hospital with the support of senior staff.
- To undertake aspects of care with or without direct supervision, including coordinating recreational groups, personal care, activities for patients and escorting duties.
- To ensure the safety and well-being of patients, and to always work in a manner that promotes dignity through the adoption of person-centred care principles.
