Year 6 Teaching Assistant needed for a school in Sunderland

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant?

Have you had experience in KS2/Key stage two?

Your new ‘Good’ primary school in Sunderland is seeking to recruit a Qualified Teaching Assistant who can motivate students and encourage children to work independently and collaboratively. The vibrant and happy schools wants someone who can promote and maintain their caring ethos.

The role
In your new job you will teaching small intervention groups as well as be working on a group basis in Year 6. You will be working full time and starting after the February half term for the foreseeable. The right Teaching Assistant must have SATs experience as the role will include SATs support.

Requirements
This job requires a fully qualified teaching assistant, with a Level 2/3.

You will also need recent teaching experience within a primary school, with SATs.

It is important that you have a strong knowledge of the current curriculum.

Experience working with Special Educational Needs/SEND is desirable, but not essential.
