Oaklands College are recruiting an experienced Art and Design technician to support across a range of areas within the department, with some focus on Fashion & Textiles, Photography, Printmaking, 3D Design, Ceramics all being a requirement. The successful candidate will have knowledge of all areas

Person Specification:

• Organised and Proactive
• Wide range of knowledge of ceramic processes
• Basic knowledge of pattern cutting
• The successful candidate will be confident in the use of machinery and its maintenance, including sewing machines, overlockers, pottery wheels and kilns
• Excellent awareness of Health and Safety procedures
• The ability to work as a team
