Position Overview & Specifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a General Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, managing a wide range of medical conditions and promoting preventive healthcare. You will play a vital role in delivering quality medical care, building patient relationships, and contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:Conduct thorough medical assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections.
Develop personalized treatment plans and provide appropriate medical interventions.
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness and potential side effects.
Offer guidance on preventive healthcare measures, such as immunizations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications.
Provide referrals to specialists when necessary, coordinating and managing patients' overall healthcare needs.

Health Promotion and Disease Prevention:Educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention strategies.
Promote health awareness through community outreach programs, workshops, and seminars.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to implement public health initiatives.

Medical Record Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Document patient visits, medical histories, treatments, and test results using electronic health record systems.
Review and interpret test results, communicate findings to patients, and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.

Continuous Learning and Professional Development:Stay abreast of the latest medical research, developments, and best practices in primary care.
Engage in continuing medical education activities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Participate in professional conferences, workshops, and seminars to expand professional networks and stay updated with industry trends.

Collaboration and Teamwork:Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families to establish trusting relationships and promote shared decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice medicine and board certification in general practice.
  • Proven experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a primary care setting.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other medical software.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Salary: £80.00-£85.00 per hour
