Your responsibilities
- Based at our HQ in Southend on Sea in Essex, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a HR division at the forefront of enabling cultural development throughout our region. This is a 12-month placement, commencing July 2023.
- With this being a heavily project-based role, you will have the unique opportunity to work across the key functions within HR including Talent Management and Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR Operations and Services. You will also have the opportunity to experience working with business as usual HR processes and policies as you learn the fundamentals of HR practice.
You will focus on building your understanding of Human Resources, providing you with a grounding in HR practice through experiencing the fundamentals of principles, policies and process. You will develop an appreciation of how HR projects work, moving from scoping through to implementation, seeing how HR works closely with stakeholders to achieve its business outcomes through partnership.
Your qualification
- You will be an undergraduate studying Human Resources Management or Business with Human Resources Management
- You will possess strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- There are no physical requirements for the role as the position will be almost exclusively desk based
