Duty Manager

We are currently recruiting a Duty Manager for our busy Carrickfergus Omniplex site! About Us Omniplex Cinema Group is a diverse leisure and entertainment company primarily consisting of cinema operations and leisure orientated property investments. A typical Omniplex cinema location ranges from 4 - 14 screens and are in most major cities and towns in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We are the market leaders in cinema, with state of the art technology, ensuring our customers enjoy the best experience possible! Responsibilities •Day to Day Running – You will be reporting to the General Manager, assisting in managing the cinema where no two days are ever the same! •Customer Interaction - Ensuring our customers enjoy the best cinema experience possible in our luxury surroundings. •Recruitment and Retention – Recruiting and training the best people for the job. •Inspiring Excellence –Motivating Team Members to improve their skills and drive sales onsite. •Reporting – Daily and weekly financial reporting to Head Office. •Promoting – Engaging with your local community to encourage a positive view of your cinema and developing bonds with surrounding schools or schemes. •Budgeting and Forecasting- Creating rotas and stock taking. •Licencing – Complying with Health and Safety legislation and local councils to retain cinema licence. The Successful Applicant •Passionate and able to work in a fast paced environment. At Omniplex, we take a very “hands-on” approach to all aspects of running a successful cinema! •Must be available to work weeknights and weekends. The role is for 40 hours a week, 5 days a week, depending on trade. •Excellent organisational and communication skills •Most importantly, ambition and drive – we want the most passionate people to join the Omniplex family!
