Logistics and Transport Team Leader

Opus People Solutions are seeking a Logistics & Transport Team Leader in Newmarket having moved 20 minutes down the road to a larger site.

This is the perfect role for candidates looking for a step up. The business you'll join is small and because of this, is a great way to gain exposure to senior operations and continue upwards along your career path.

Continued growth is expected (hence the new site). This could be the first of many job titles with our client as expansions often lead to speedy promotions.

Currently the working hours are 11:00 - 20:00. However, this is under review and is likely to move to a 09:00 - 18:00.

Day to day, you will:

• Route plan for 6-7 rigid vehicle's plus any contractors.
• Debrief drivers.
• Ensure deliveries arrive on time and as intended.
• Maintain a close relationship to sales.
