Specialist Support Tutor

Specialist support tutor for dyslexic and specific learning difficulties (SpLD) students

We are recruiting specialist support tutors to provide one-to-one study skills support to students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study. We will consider candidates available to work between 15 and 25 hours per week during semester time (30 weeks per year). Some overtime outside of semester may be available. The post holder will work in a hybrid pattern both remotely and on-site. They will mainly be based on the Headington campus but with travel to all sites.

Interviews are expected to take place on 29th and 30th March 2023.

Please note: the successful applicant will need to be subject to a background disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before any appointment can be confirmed.

This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points-based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don’t currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a visa via another route.
