Position Overview & Specifications

Are you looking for a new exciting career opportunity within healthcare?

We are looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to be part of our wonderful nursing team and be passionate about working in healthcare.

If you are enthusiastic about making a difference and want to contribute to an organisation which is continuously striving to improve then we would love to hear from you.

You will support the nursing team to deliver outstanding care, showing support to our patients and their families; helping to promote independence, dignity and positively enhancing the lives of our older patients in our care.

As a team member you will receive on-going support with an excellent development programme to help you reach your full potential. We can also provide opportunities for you to progress in your career with Apprenticeships and Nursing Associate Training available.

We welcome applications from experienced Healthcare Assistants wishing to change to community hospitals or for individuals who are looking for a new and rewarding career opportunity.

Wallingford Community Hospital provides rehabilitation and palliative care for people who no longer require the services of an acute hospital but require greater support than currently provided in their home environment.

The hospital has a dedicated team of nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists and is supported by medical teams.

The role is available on a permanent contract. A flexible requirement to work a variety of shift patterns is essential. Our shift patterns are: 7.30am-3.30pm / 1.00pm-9pm / 8.30pm-8.00am.

Flexibility to be able to undertake early/late/night shifts is required.
